We are excited to announce that Shar Weltikol, of our Bismarck location, has been awarded the 2016 Odin Award, from First International Bank & Trust.
Shar was nominated by her fellow colleagues for her commitment to excellence and willingness to go the extra mile. Shar has chosen Trinity Luthern Church for her $5,000 charitable donation.
The Odin Award is an employee award that gives recognition each year to the person who has consistently demonstrated the Bank’s mission, vision and values. Employees are nominated by their fellow coworkers.
Thoughts from Shar:
What does winning the Odin Award mean to you?
I have the utmost respect for the family and values on which First International Bank & Trust was founded. To be a recipient of an award that depicts that level of integrity is truly an honor.
What charity did you choose to donate to, and why?
I chose to donate to my church, Trinity Lutheran, in hopes to touch multiple causes and benefit as many people as possible.
What is your favorite part of working at FIB&T?
My favorite part of working at FIB&T is the people – both the customers and co-workers. The family atmosphere within the organization enriches relationships between co-workers and focuses on what I love to do most; helping people.
Shar Weltikol has worked at First International Bank & Trust for 20 years, beginning in Watford City and is now located at the Bismarck office. She is a graduate of the Dakota School of Banking and is currently AVP/Business eServices.
